Do Not Understand Poem - Dilemma of Life!
Written By - Sanjay Sonawane.
Do Not Understand
A voice comes from within, but I can't understand its language or meaning
A whisper echoes deep inside, but its words remain a mystery to me
In the silence, I search for answers, but they slip away like sand
Leaving me with questions, lost in the vast unknown land
Do Not Understand
Is life a journey or just a peaceful death?
A path to explore or a serene finale to breathe?
I seek wisdom, but it flees from sight
Leaving me with shadows, in the dark of night
Do Not Understand
Should I salute the rising sun, or lament the darkness done?
Celebrate success, or dwell on fears, and tears undone?
Take the easy path, or choose the road less traveled and worn?
Embracing each moment, wild and free, or ponder on what used to be born?
Do Not Understand
In the innocence of childhood's gaze, or energy of youth's bold ways
Or dependency on old age's sway, which path is truer, come what may?
I search for truth, in every face, but find only a mirrored space
Reflecting on my own doubts, in an endless, mystic chase
Do Not Understand
Perhaps understanding is not the goal, but the journey itself
A winding road, where questions unfold, like a lotus in stealth
Maybe the answers lie within, hidden deep and unspoken
And the search is the destination, where heart and soul are awoken
Do Not Understand
Shall I seek the wise and guiding light,
A Guru to unravel life's tangled night?
But where to find this enlightened soul,
To answer questions that make my heart whole?
Do Not Understand
Before my fleeting breath escapes this earth,
Will uncover life's profound, hidden birth?
Or will my search for truth remain in vain,
Leaving me with questions, till my final refrain?
Guru is a Hindi word for a personality like a Teacher, Guide, Mentor, or Pathfinder. This word also emphasizes a person one can rely on to any extent. It is believed that Guru has all the wisdom, knowledge, and ability to carry on his disciple from any odds of life. Guru has a bordering meaning, unlike a teacher or a mentor.
For example:
1. Arjun ( A great warrior from Mahabharat)- Guru Dronacharya.
2. Swami Vivekanand ( He was an Indian Hindu Monl, philosopher, author, religious teacher, social reformer, and the chief disciple of the Indian mystic Ramakrishna)- Guru Ramkrishna Paramhansa.
This poem explores themes of self-discovery, existential queries, and the search for meaning. It also highlights the theme of seeking answers, guidance, and wisdom while acknowledging the challenges and uncertainties of finding them.
Through this poem, I simply tried to express the emotions and feelings of a common man who suffers and finds himself in a dilemma about the complexities of life. I hope you like it!!!
Thank You ! ! !
